The Ramakrishna Vedanta Society of the Philippines welcomes applications for membership from those who are seriously interested in the elevating and universal ideas and practices of the Vedanta religious philosophy and who wish to sponsor our Society by participating in its activities, by pledging any financial support (regular or occasional, no amount is too small) or personal devotional service.
Members have the right to vote on all matters relating to the affairs of the Society, to be eligible to any elective or appointive office of the Society, to participate in all meetings of the Society, to be informed about the business affairs of our Society and to avail of all its facilities.
Members are not required to relinquish their own faith or to convert to any other faith.
Our Society also welcomes those who may not yet be interested to become a member but wish to help out in the programs and day-to-day operations of our Center by way of selfless and voluntary service. Opportunities for service include, but are not limited to, cleaning, gardening, cooking or bringing food items, clerical work, book sales, preparing the Center during events, helping in the packing and distribution of relief goods, photo and video taking, etc.
Anyone interested in either membership or voluntary work is encouraged to discuss the matter with Swami Udaarananda, our Society’s spiritual minister, during a personal meeting.
